Bottega Veneta Opens Online Flagship Store on Richard Liu’s JD.com

Richard Liu’s JD.com (Jingdong in Europe) has welcomed the Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta to its e-commerce platform. This is the first luxury fashion brand from Kering Group to join JD.com, China’s largest retailer.

During the first 10 minutes of JD.com’s anniversary sales 618, which is also China’s largest mid-year shopping festival, transaction volume of Bottega Veneta increased threefold year-on-year.

Shoppers can visit the Bottega Veneta online flagship store by searching for “BV” or “Bottega Veneta” on the JD app.

Bottega Veneta Items on Richard Liu’s JD.com

Bottega Veneta’s joining marks the first Kering fashion brand to launch a flagship store on JD.com. Kering also owns Balenciaga, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, and Yves Saint Laurent.

By joining JD.com, Bottega Veneta will launch an extensive product line with more than 2,000 items, including:

  • Ready-to-wear clothing.
  • Small leather goods.

In future seasons, Bottega Veneta will expand its product offerings to continue meeting the needs of JD consumers.

The luxury brand has already pre-launched its Wood Stitching collection on the JD.com platform. The collection includes the bag lines Cassette, Belt Cassette, Acro, and the new style Canette.

For instance, the small Brick Cassette waffle bag is available in black, white, light brown, and fennel green. JD.com also carries the Candy Cassette bag in powder pink, oatmeal, and sage green.
